LINDO Teams with Opalytics to Deploy Analytics Applications

Boston, MA. – June 29nd, 2017 – Opalytics, a provider of an analytics platform to empower operations, and LINDO Systems, a leading provider of optimization software since 1981, are teaming up to provide a platform to deploy applications developed with LINDO’s solvers and tools.

The Opalytics Cloud Platform (OCP) was developed in order to create applications that use advanced analytics solvers. The solvers cover different capabilities including simulation, machine learning and optimization. This enables fast and effective deployment of analytics so that business users can participate in the prototyping stage and use it in their work.

To support this process, Opalytics has developed a data library, ticdat, which facilitates separation of model from data and enables rich data integrity checks. When plugged into OCP, a custom algorithm comes alive for business users through Opalytics Instant Applications – immediate transformation of a solver into a professional-grade, intuitive application.

Opalytics recently added support for LINDO’s LINGO, a comprehensive tool designed to make building and solving Linear, Nonlinear (convex & nonconvex/Global), Quadratic, Quadratically Constrained, Second Order Cone, Semi-Definite, Stochastic, and Integer optimization models faster, easier and more efficient. LINGO provides a completely integrated package that includes a powerful language for expressing optimization models, a full featured environment for building and editing problems, and a set of fast built-in solvers.
